ABOUT Us

On October 31st, 2017 international superstar group, BTS announced a two-year long partnership with UNICEF in an anti-violence campaign dubbed LOVE MYSELF. The group staged campaigns against violence toward children and teens around the world, with the hope of making the world a better place through music. Over the next two years, BTS and their management company, Big Hit Entertainment, pledged 500 million KRW to the UNICEF campaign and donated 3% of the Love Yourself series’ physical album sales income. All the income from sales of official goods related to the LOVE MYSELF campaign and additional donations to UNICEF was also donated towards #ENDViolence

On March 9th, 2018, an ARMY named Ana put out the call on Twitter to see if any fans of BTS (dubbed ARMY) were interested in working on a project for #ENDViolence, #BTSLoveMyself, or a Syrian relief project. The tweet went viral and a group of volunteers from around the world came together within hours and created One In An ARMY to start making this idea a reality.

The first official campaign ran from April 9-30 2018 with donations benefiting Medical Teams International. Subsequent campaigns can be found on the archive. One In An ARMY has plans to continue campaigning for as long as possible and rotate through non-profits on a monthly basis. In order to make this website accessible to ARMY all around the world, we recommend you view this website in Google Chrome and add this translation extension to view the site in a language other than English.
